At Happy Yappers, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of dogs and their families in need.

Every month we go to townships and informal settlements around Magaliesburg to assist the local community with the care of their dogs.

We offer a range of services, including sterilisation, vaccines, deworming, tick and flea treatments, as well as medical care for dogs who are ill. Additionally, we provide education on dog care, advocate for the release of dogs that are restrained, and seek permission from owners to uplift litter.

On average, we assist around 100 families per month in four main townships around Magaliesburg (Rietpoort, Ga Mohale, C.Y., and Mathopestad), as well as other small settlements.

The number of families we help is subject to the amount of donations we receive. We encourage individuals and companies to contribute to this programme by bringing donations to our collection points:

Johannesburg:

• Happy Yappers HUB: Corner 4th Ave & 7th Ave, Parktown North

Magaliesburg:

• Happy Yappers Country Store: located at the shed next to Magaliesburg train station. Open on weekends & public holidays from 9:00 to 15:30. (Search “Happy Yappers Country Store” on Google Maps for the pin location)

We accept donations that include dog food, blankets, kennels, collars, and leashes. Every contribution makes a difference, and no amount is too small. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so by clicking here or making an EFT directly into our bank account:
