Ready to Welcome a Furry Family Member? Here’s How Our Adoption Process Works:
- Find Your Match
- Browse our Puppies or Adult Dogs, or check out our posts on Facebook and Instagram. If you spot a dog you’re interested in, please contact us first to confirm their availability.
- Apply Online
- Complete our adoption application form on the website and submit it along with a pre-approval home video.
- Home Check
- If your application is approved, our team will arrange a physical home check to ensure a safe, happy environment for your new dog.
- Adoption Fees
- Puppies: R1700 (includes all three 5-in-1 vaccines, tick and flea treatments, deworming, and sterilization at 6 months)
- Adult Dogs (1.5 years+): R950 (includes full vaccinations, sterilization, and microchip)
Please note: A physical home check costs R150, which will be deducted from the adoption fee if your application is successful.

Adopting a dog is a big decision, but our team is here to guide you through every step and help you find the perfect companion for your family.
What if I already have pets at home?
We highly recommend introducing your current pets to any potential new family members before finalizing the adoption, to ensure they’re a good match. After bringing your new dog home, it’s best to keep them separated for the first few days, giving everyone time to adjust and feel comfortable in each other’s presence.
What if I have children?
We encourage families with children to adopt, but it’s important to consider the personality and needs of the dog. Some dogs may not be suitable for homes with young children, while others may be a perfect match.
Can I return the dog if it doesn’t work out?
Yes, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned, and we are here to help. We do ask that you give the dog a chance to adjust to its new home before making a final decision. If the dog needs to be returned, we will work with you to find a suitable solution.
Can I choose a specific breed of dog?
We are a mixed-breed rescue, and we encourage potential adopters to consider adopting based on personality and compatibility rather than breed. However, if you have a specific breed in mind, we recommend checking with breed-specific rescues first.
What if I can’t afford the adoption fee?
We understand that the adoption fee may be a barrier for some families, but it helps us cover the costs of vaccinations, sterilization, and other medical expenses. We are happy to work with potential adopters on payment plans or reduced fees in certain circumstances.

These events take place at local markets and other locations and are shared on our social media pages, so be sure to follow us to stay updated.
The same adoption process applies for our Pop-Up Adoption Days: the adoption application form and home check must be approved before you can take your new dog home.
However, you have the option of doing a “Pre-approval” by submitting the adoption application and completing the home check before the event. This way, you can go home with your new furry family member on the day of the event.
